This is a CNC cut and engraved copper coated fiberglass plate with a hard plastic handle that is screen accurate with the data chip used to transfer the plans of the Death Star into the hands of Princess Lea and eventually into R2D2. Unlike plastic replicas, this has the look and feel of being a real data transmission device.
The data plate is sized such that it will fit in the slot below the eye of a spec Astromech Builders Club full size R2D2.
The writing on the card says "Death Star" Though it is unclear if there was any writing on the screen used card in this location, this area is covered by the man's thumb, this seemed appropriate.

3D Printed kits are printed on demand and are not returnable. If you receive a broken part or a part which has a flaw, please contact us and we will get you a replacement part.
Fiberglass Armor Kits and Resin parts
All of our fiberglas armor kits are laid up by hand and resin prints are hand poured because all of these parts are "low run" specialized parts. We try to be very careful in the layup process to eliminate bubbles or imperfections, but these do happen. Filling in or smoothing small bubbles or sanding imperfections is part of the prep process before the parts are painted. If you do receive a part which you think has too many flaws, contact us and we will work with you to either repair the part or get you a new one.
